The version of this Pattern Licence in effect when an order is placed applies to that purchase.
You may
- Download and print the pattern for your own use.
- Make finished physical items for yourself or as gifts.
- Sell up to 100 finished physical items that you or your small handmade business make from each purchased pattern design. This is a cumulative limit, not a limit per order or per year; buying another copy of the same PDF does not reset it.
- Share photographs of your finished work online.
You may not
- Copy, upload, email, redistribute or resell the PDF, template or instructions.
- Sell printed or digital copies of the pattern.
- Exceed 100 finished items from one pattern design without a separate written licence.
- Use the standard licence for factory production, outsourced manufacturing or mass production.
- Claim the design or instructions as your own.
- Use pattern artwork as a logo, trademark or stock asset.
Teaching and extended commercial licences
Classes, workshops, kits, production above 100 finished items, and any outsourced or factory production require written permission before use. Contact PearDay Patterns with the pattern name, intended use, who will make the items and the approximate lifetime quantity. PearDay Patterns will confirm the permitted scope and price in writing.
